Protect and Serve???

More police idiocy.

Watch this cop arrest a firefighter who is in the process of assisting someone in need.

Amazing!

The word is that the cop has been disciplined. But what consolation would that be to the person who was in need of help, if something more serious had happened?

I'm confused. Why was he arrested?

I wish that there were audio of the enccounter... it looks like he's telling the engine to move, then arrests what might be the fire captain for not getting it done, or perhaps telling the cop he's an idiot! or both lol. sure wish I could hear what was being said

I wish I could hear it too... But its obvious to me that the cop is clearly overreacting.... It looks to me like he tells the fire engine to move, and the guy tells the cop to go screw himself, he;s trying to address a situation..(after all, the guy jumps out of a moving vehicle to start helping the victim)....

I would think the cop would stand back and let the professionals deal with the crisis... do something productive like go back up the road and start direction traffic... but no. He wants to punish the "evil doer".
